What books and my library means to me

There is a discussion event happening at 7pm in Stirling Central library tomorrow (Wednesday 25th Nov)  with a fantastic panel: Alan Bissett, Shari Lowe, Lisa Ballantyne and Billy Letford, Chaired by Claire Squires.  This panel is not directly crime related but in my experience public libraries and crime fiction go hand in hand as crime is consistently up there  in the most borrowed genre from libraries in Scotland.

As a library lover the topic of how their experiences were formed by books and libraries, what libraries mean to them and their opinions on the future of libraries is close to my heart.  To keep our libraries we need to use them. Please come along.

More info can be found here.

Don’t forget the crime related events happening in the local area tonight and on Thursday as part of Book Week Scotland- more information here
