Miriam will be chairing the Nordic Noir panel at Bloody Scotland on Saturday 12 September. We will be discussing the latest books of the three guests, trends in Nordic crime and how it differs across their three homelands.
The authors on the panel are Norwegian Gunnar Staalesen, who has written over 20 crime novels translated into 12 languages. Swedish author Johan Theorin who has won a number of awards for his haunting supernatural novels set on the Swedish island of Öland and Icelandic crime writer Ragnar Jonasson. Snowblind is his first novel to be published in English but he has written others in Icelandic and translated crime fiction from English into Icelandic since he was a teenager. He is also one of the founders of the Iceland Noir festival which you may have read about here.
The panel has now sold out but if anyone has any burning questions that they would like to ask then feel free to message us and we will see if we can include your question on the day.
Please come and say hello if you are at Bloody Scotland and you follow this blog. We’d love to meet you.
