Headhunters

I went to see this film last week when I was on holiday in Tobermory. There is a local film club there and they meet and show a film at An Tobar (the arts centre) regularly.I had no idea what to expect. I haven’t read any Nesbo and don’t know his work. I enjoyed the film. It had shades of Fargo and Reservoir Dogs to it I thought with a bit of the Thomas Crown Affair thrown in. Some interesting photography and pretty good acting. I liked the scenes shot out in the countryside with lochs and rocks and old decrepit farmhouses and tractors. When we came out of the film we all had to take a penny and put it into a pot labelled A, B, C,D or E to show if we had enjoyed it. ‘A’ being the most enjoyable down to E for those who really didn’t like it. Most of the pennies were in ‘A’ and a few in ‘B’. I put mine in A!

Here is the Guardian’s review of it (contains spoilers)
